Here's a quick post tonight.
A memories frame that I gifted to a friend. It is a standard 8-1/2" x 11" frame. I used white, brown and olive green cardstock. The Flourishes were made with Grunge board on my Expression using the Accent Essentials Cart while using a deep cuting blade (multi-cut x 3). It's stamped with black ink then embossed with gold embosing powder. I added pearls and ribbon for embelishments. The cardstock is also stitched with black thread on a standard sewing machine.
Enjoy

Bloom Card
Good Evening all!
I had a new project today, a goodbye card. (tear)
We have a wonderful lady at the office who is moving all the way to Pennsylvania. :( It makes me sad just thinking about losing her. I hate to share her, but I know that she'll make other people happy where she's going. With this in mind I created a card just for her!!
This is a standard 5 x 7" card. I chose red cardstock and printed floral paper with alot of orange. (Her favorite color). I printed the verbage on white cardstock them sewed a v line on top and bottom. I embelished with paper flowers from Flora doodles and assorted buttons. They are adheared to the card with mini Zots.
An inside view:
Has a short saying "when life uproots you...bloom" and added sentiments. I also added a backsplash to the envelope of the floral paper left over.
Thats all for now... Thanks for stoping by!

Onsie Baby Shower Card
Well it's been quite awhile since my last post! I've taken a scrapbooking hiatus these last couple of months, but now I'm back and more creative than ever!! So to celebrate this occasion I wanted to share an adorable baby shower card I just completed. I got the initial idea from an idea book but I tweeked it and made it my own. You can use this same concept from a boy card, just substiture the pink and brown for blue and green.
I created the card using Sure Cuts Alot 2. Unfortunately, as of right now I don't have the card file for the Cricut... but I did create the envelope in Design Studios using the Wild Card Cart.
This card has three layers. Pink, white and brown cardstock. Using the files I created you can cut each layer then assemble and add embelishments as desired. I used pearl rinestones, pink/ brown flowers from Daisy Doodles, a brown button and brown ribbon. If you have SCAL 2 and would like the files just let me know and I can email it to you. (free of course)
Thanks for stopping by!!
